Speaking to the media, Ranbir had once said that Mumbai street food is unrivalled. He had stated that he was born and brought up in Mumbai and has been a fan of the city’s street food options.

In a video clip uploaded by Koimoi, Ranbir said that he loves the dosa in Bandra, the sev puri in Pali Hill, the anda pav outside a hospital in Juhu and the cheese dosa outside H.R. College. He also talked about vegetarian sandwiches and Chinese food.

The actor said that if something can hug his soul, that is food, and there is no match for Mumbai street food. In another media interview, he had expressed his fondness for dabeli. Interestingly, he also enjoys sukha puri from his favourite Pali Hill stall.

Ranbir Prefers A Homely ‘Dal-Chawal Wala’ Life
In his movie Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani, Ranbir had said, “Shaadi is dal chawal for pachaas saal till you die, life mein thora bohot keema pav, tangdi kebab, hakka noodle bhi honi chahiya na?” But real-life Ranbir very much prefers the ‘dal-chawal wala’ life. He had confessed in a promotional event that dal-chawal is best for life and for him it is Alia. Speaking about wife Alia, he said, “Wo dal chawal mein tadka hain achaar hain.”
