Get ready to enjoy a special culinary adventure in the lanes of Shillong. Rynsan is a hidden gem where food and music come together to give you an unforgettable evening with your loved ones. The creative brains behind this are Hammarsing Kharhmar, a popular Khasi musician and wife, Riyaki Jana.

It is located in a restored Assamese bungalow commonly known as Ikra house. The menu, interiors and decor are primarily focused on the indigenous cuisines of Meghalaya and its neighbouring states prepared with food sourced directly from rural organic farms. In Khasi language, the word ‘Rynsan’ means ‘platform’.

Hence, Rynsan becomes a stage where they strive to bring the indigenous cuisines of Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram with exciting live music shows. The menu has rich and authentic food of Garo, Khasi and Jaintia with a contemporary twist that incorporates culinary adventure with arts, culture and music.
