A cricketing career spanned over 24 years, his contribution to Indian cricket is unparalleled. However, Tendulkar has always been known for his love of food. So, when we got to interview him, we couldn’t wait to know more about him and his food diaries. Similarly, Tendulkar also shared in this interview how he has always had a deep love for home-cooked food prepared by his mother. For him, the love of his mother’s home-cooked food extends far beyond just the taste. His love for his mother’s home-cooked food is a testament to the importance of simple, delicious meals that are made with love and care.

Moreover, Tendulkar also mentioned how his mother’s recipes are simple yet flavorful, and that always hit the spot. He narrates one incident of how his mother’s fish curry and rice recipe won over his wife, Anjali.  The fish curry and rice were so good that they were the best his wife had ever tasted.

The master blaster also mentioned how he always managed to find time for cooking. For him, the art of cooking equals therapy and relaxation. Sachin’s love for cooking is not limited to just one cuisine or style. He enjoys cooking a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Indian cuisine to international dishes.

His tryst with cooking had once led to cooking for 50 people. Well, it wasn’t an easy task. Deciding the quantity of each ingredient, the number of onions and the amount of salt to be added was confusing even for the legendary cricketer. But whether it be on the field or in the kitchen, expect Tendulkar to ace the task with flying colours too.
