The story is about the daughter of Menaka and Sage Vishwanitra who falls in love with King Dushyant. After they have a child, King Dushyant forgets her due to the rishi’s curse. But destiny brings them together. After shooting this beautiful and historic movie, Samantha is starting her promotions with the blessings of Sri Peddamma Thalli.

About Sri Peddamma Thalli
This divine temple is located in Hyderabad and is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. The architecture of the temple is simply gorgeous and the place attracts innumerable devotees every year. Moreover, this temple has become one of the most important places in Hyderabad. The word Peddamma means the supreme mother. It is believed that the goddess is a reincarnation of Mahishasura Mardini.
The temple is said to host various cultural festivals like Bonalu Festival, Rathotsavam, etc. During the Bonalu Festival, women carry earthen pots along with kumkum and haldi. The pot contains items like jaggery, curd, milk and rice and is offered to the goddess. Another popular festival celebrated at this temple is the Rathotsavam — organised on the Ratha Saptami.
