UAE’s recent encounter with heavy rains and storms led to disruptive flight cancellations at Dubai airport. 13 inbound flights were diverted to neighbouring airports, and 6 outbound flights from DXB were cancelled due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

4. UAE Introduces New Pension Law for Divorced and Widowed Women

A woman with insurance coverage, regardless of her marital status (married, divorced, or widowed), has the option to apply for a retirement pension. However, in the case of being a mother of five children or more, there is a possibility of reducing both the minimum age requirement and the subscription period. For eligibility, the insured individual must be a minimum of 55 years old, and the subscription period should span at least 30 years.

Running from November 16, 2023, to March 24, 2024, the showcase explores the influence of Islamic arts on Cartier’s design evolution from the early 20th century to the present day. With over 500 pieces, including jewellery, drawings, books, photographs, and archival documents, the exhibition exemplifies the rich intersection of cultures.
