Supplementing the picture with a caption, GD Prasad writes that they’re delighted by the world-class Vande Bharat trains operating in South India. However, he requests the support of Indian Railways to represent more brands from South India in the snack tray. Moreover, he adds that VS Mani & Co would be honoured to serve filter coffee and South Indian snacks on Vande Bharat trains if given an opportunity.

Currently, Bengaluru has Vande Bharat train services to Mysuru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Belagavi, Hyderabad, Dharwad and Hubballi. South India launched its first Vande Bharat Express train in 2022 between Bengaluru, Mysuru and Chennai. South Indians, particularly people from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have an affinity for filter coffee. So, it would be a welcoming addition to serve filter coffee on Vande Bharat trains as it’s a staple in many South Indian households.
