Ramadan 2020: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque To Broadcast Live Prayers

The Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced that Taraweeh prayers will be streamed live from the Grand Mosque. The prayers will be streamed on official television channels and radio stations throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The ministry further added that prayers will be confined only to the imam along with two worshippers. The decision comes in line with UAE’s precautionary measures to curb Covid 19. Worshippers who visit the mosque must also wear facemasks and gloves to ensure their safety.

The decision reflects UAE leadership’s keenness in keeping alive the spiritual nature of the holy month of Ramadan.
