Things are not the same anymore as it was a few decades back. Both men and women are working side by side in different industries and work fields. Not just in the corporate world, the number of women entrepreneurs is also increasing rapidly and their startups are showcasing great performances and achieving heights. Visa has come up with the She’s Next Grant Program and it plays a huge role in women’s startups.

Visa is a well-renowned name in digital payments technology and this company just introduced this program. This initiative is a tremendous support provided to startup brands and businesses led by women entrepreneurs. This time, the She’s Next Grant Program is all set to work with such startups in India and assist them with funds, tips, mentoring, tools, and networking opportunities.

This globally renowned program has helped so many women-led and women-owned businesses in the past years and still continues to do so with funds from Visa. According to a report by Your Story, Visa has made investments in over 260 grants and programs in the entire world while working with the She’s Next Grant Program. Working to help women to grow their small businesses, Visa has already invested more than $2.8 million starting from 2020.

If you are a woman and run your business, you can be eligible for this program and win the grant as well. Here are some guidelines you need to check before you fill out the application.

  • Only legal residents of India who are either 18 years old or more can apply.
  • Indian citizens can only apply if the business has a presence on different social media platforms.
  • The startup needs to be a minimum of a year’s age.
  • The yearly income of the business has to be ₹10,00,000 or more.

Starting on 14 July, women entrepreneurs can start filling out the applications, according to a report by Financial Express. It will continue till 27 August. 3 entrepreneurs each will win a huge grant of $10,000.
