What’s The Cherry Blossom Festival In Shillong 2019 All About?
Starting from the 13th of November to the 16th of November, Shillong will play host to India’s very own Cherry Blossom Festival. This is the fourth edition of the festival since its inception. It’s a time of celebration as the city revels in the trees are abloom. From what we hear, the trees are already beginning to flower and the entire valley will be full of it by the beginning of the festival. Coming to what the festival entails, prepare to drown yourself in goof music and perfectly cooked barbecue. That’s right, you can have as much delicious Korean Barbecue as your stomach can handle. Add to that music shows, beauty pageants and traditional dance and music performances and you have full-fledged rager. It’s a time for the city in Meghalaya to display its culture and beauty at the finest and the cherry blossoms make for a really great backdrop.
