The World’s Best Airport 2023
For the 12th time, Singapore Changi Airport is rated as the world’s best airport for the year 2023. And have dethroned Qatar — last year’s winner. The Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airport Group stated that Changi Airport has been rated as the world’s best airport for the 12th time. He even said this recognition is a great encouragement for the airport community. They battled the challenges of Covid-19 for the past two years. He also showed gratitude towards the passengers whose continued support encourages them to keep providing excellent service.
According to the aviation website called ‘Skytrax’, Hamad International Airport in Doha ranked second globally. Moreover, the airport won three awards — World’s Best Airport Shopping, Cleanest Airport in the Middle East and Best Airport in the Middle East. And the airport ranked third globally was Tokyo Haneda Airport. It was also awarded as the World’s Cleanest Airport, Best Airport PRM & Accessible Facilities and World’s Best Domestic Airport. Paris Charles de Gaulle ranked fifth and was one of Europe’s top performers. And the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ranked 18th and highest-ranked North American airport.
Singapore Changi Airport
Changi Airport serves as a transportation hub in Asia and is a major international airport. It also witnesses major cargo traffic and is one of the busiest airports. Moreover, the airport was recognised as the best airport in the world for eight consecutive years. The airport offers direct flights to destinations like Africa, North America, the Middle East, Oceania, Europe and Asia.

The location of Singapore Changi Airport is favourable for high-demand layovers. The airport serves as an airport hub for Qantas and FedEx Express in Asia. The airport has three runways each four kilometres long and has four terminal buildings.
