We were all super psyched for Delhi to get its Signature Bridge and it did not disappoint. The Bridge stands tall in all its glory. And now we have even better news, a viewing gallery made of glass at the top of the Signature Bridge! Heck yeah! We can’t wait to be able to get a mesmerising view of Delhi from atop the Signature Bridge. And the view we get will be from a gallery made entirely of glass you all! And there might just be another treat for us too, read on to find out people.
What Is It?
Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), the Signature Bridge in the northeast side of Delhi will receive a viewing point at its pinnacle. This is to be achieved by June 30, 2019, itself. Us Delhi folks only have to wait a little less than a month to be able to get up this glass box of a gallery then!
The viewing shall be conducted from a glass box of sorts. “From the glass façade, visitors will be able to have a bird’s eye view of the city. The viewing gallery can accommodate 50 to 60 people at a time,” said Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia to Hindustan Times. And a mesmerising view should never be missed out on by anyone.
What’s More?
There will also be safe selfie points for the tourists and the public to avoid accidents. And arrangements to be able to sell refreshments to the people are also underway. Food to eat, a great view, what else could we ask for? Are you excited, Delhi peeps? But please, do not litter or scribble the walls with rubbish like half our Heritage monuments have been reduced to. It’s not cool.
