Soon, Travel From Udaipur To Ahmedabad Hassle-Free As New Trains Added To Route

It is good news for train passengers, as the Ministry of Railways has approved the operations of three new trains on the Udaipur- Ahmedabad route. Two of the three approved trains will operate from Udaipur to Aswara, while the others will connect Jaipur to Aswara via Udaipur.

The authorities said that the operations will begin soon once the gauge conversion work between Udaipur and Ahmedabad undergoes completion. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has released the train schedule publically. Hence, an update can be expected anytime before Diwali.

Train Schedule For Udaipur- Aswara Route

According to the schedule, train number 20963 will depart at 5:30 am every day for Aswara from Udaipur. On arrival, the same train will start from Aswara at 2:30 pm arriving at Udaipur at 8:00 pm. Thus, completing the round trip.

The second train (19003) on the same route will start at 5:00 pm from Udaipur. It will reach Aswara at 11:00 pm. Similarly, train 19704 will start its journey in the other direction from Aswara at 6:30 am. And finally, reach Udaipur at 12:30 noon.

The trains– 20963 and 19003, will halt at Umrada, Jawar, Jaisamand Road, Semari, Rishabhdev Road, Dungarpur, Bichhiwada, Shamlaji Road, Himmatnagar, Pranjit, Talod, Nadol, Dehgam, Naroda, and Sardargram before reaching their destination at Udaipur city station.

The third approved train, 12981, will start from Jaipur at 7:35 pm and reach Aswara at 8:45 am the next day, via Udaipur. Thereafter, the same train will depart from Aswara at 6:45 pm and reach Jaipur at 7:45 am the following day.

On the way, the train will stop at Phulera Junction, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bhilwara, Chanderia, Mavli Junction, Ranapratap Nagar, Udaipur, Jawar, Dungarpur, Shamlaji Road, Himmatnagar, Nadol, Dahegaon, and Sardargram.

A member of parliament from Udaipur, Arjun Lal Meena, is keen on beginning operations of the three trains before Diwali. He has also been persistent in pushing the procedure forward. With the schedule made public, the expectations have grown. So, the passengers on Rajasthan and Gujarat routes are looking forward to a hassle-free travel experience this Diwali.
