The Sport Society, the world’s largest sports shopping mall will soon open doors for all sports enthusiasts in Dubai. The mall is due to open by 2020.

Sports enthusiasts, here’s some good news for you! By 2020, Dubai will have a brand new sports mall, which will satiate every sport-lovers needs. Developed by Viva City in Mirdif, the mall houses everything and anything that is sports. The huge mall will have three floors, spread across an area that sums up to 12 football pitches. Yes, you read it right!
And, the best part is- it offers more than just shopping. Apart from top-notch global sports brands, the ground floor of the mall will have a huge LED screen which will screen live matches and organize sports events. The other two floors are reserved for retail outlets and dining options. The mall is also said to have an ice-skating rink.
Edgar Bove, head of design at Viva City, said: “The project will present big surprises both in design and activities, and will deliver a unique experience combining shopping, entertainment, and sports. The launch of the project comes in line with the Dubai Fitness Challenge.”
The mall is said to be an initiative to make Dubai an active city. All thanks to the encouragement and motivation from the Dubai Fitness Challenge!
