Now, you can travel to renowned temples and religious sites of this country with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). Recently, IRCTC launched a travel package to Sri Lanka and here’s why you need to check it out.

IRCTC’s Travel Package To Sri Lanka Is A Week-Long Trip

Taking to X, IRCTC (@IRCTCofficial) shared all the important information about this exciting travel deal.

Many of us are aware of Sri Lanka’s connection with Ramayana and how this country is an important part of the world-renowned epic. If you wish to join a group of travellers on a journey to witness some of the trails of the Ramayan yatra in this country and explore like never before, this travel package by IRCTC is perfect for you.

  • This 6-night and 7-day travel package is titled “Trails Of Sri Lanka Ramayana Yatra”.
  • The journey will begin from Kochi’s Cochin International Airport.
  • The departure date of this trip is July 14, 2024.
  • On the departure date, travellers will board the SriLankan Airlines flight from Kochi at 10:20 AM and arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport at 11:30 AM, according to the IRCTC website.
  • While returning on May 20, the visitors will catch a SriLankan Airlines flight from Bandaranaike International Airport at 8:05 AM and reach Kochi at 9:20 AM.

This package to Sri Lanka starts at ₹66,400 for each person for triple sharing. The cost changes according to people’s preferences. It increases to ₹67,650 for each visitor for twin sharing. Lastly, the package costs ₹90,150 per tourist for single occupancy.
