This package offers a luxurious river cruising experience in Kerala on a traditional houseboat. The journey will begin from Thottappally Jetty in Alleppey. It’s a two-night, three-day package. The IRCTC Kerala package includes airport transfers, AC accommodation, and local assistance.

Itinerary

Day 1: Beginning at Thottappally jetty, Alleppey by 12 pm, you will be taken across rivers, lagoons, canals and estuaries. You can sit back, relax and watch the rural life folding. You will be served traditional lunch on-board. 

Day 2: You will be visiting Kerala’s only temple with female priests, Mannarasala Temple. The next stop will be the Mannar village, where you can meet the metalsmith, visit churches built by St. Thomas, and then return back to the boat. Next, you will be visiting Karumadi village, where you can visit small shrines. Kanjippadom village will be the next stop where you can take a walk. There, you can also meet carpenters who build houseboats known as Kettuvallom. Later, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 3: Begin your day with breakfast at Punnamada lake. The journey will end after a walk through Alleppy’s market.
