The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is well renowned among devotees. Also known as Yadadri Temple, it is located on a hillock in Yadagiripally in the state of Telangana. Though it is not unusual to have a lot of people visit this temple, Sunday was not the same. The Yadadri Temple witnessed a rush of devotees like never before.

The Renovation Of Yadadri Temple And The Devotion Of People

The renovation of the Yadadri Temple was a significant moment. The use of Black stone or Krishna Sila is the essence of this temple. Dedicated to Lord Narasimha, the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, inaugurated the temple on 28th March 2022.

On Sunday, the temple witnessed a massive crowd of people in the queue for darshan. The devotees made offerings in cash and other forms. Hence, the temple’s revenue for that day made a record ₹1.16 crore. After renovation, devotees were eager to see the temple and thus rushed there.

Traffic Jam At Gudur Toll Plaza

The massive number of devotees at Yadadri Temple resulted in a huge traffic jam at the Gudur toll plaza on the Hyderabad-Warangal Highway. The Hyderabad-Warangal Highway is one of the main routes to reach Yadadri Temple. Sunday evening was a bit hectic for the travellers on this route as the highway was jam-packed with devotees returning from the temple. The allocation of three gates by the authorities supposedly helped the traffic to clear.
