Nestled in the buzzing lanes of the Bohri community, Imdad restaurant has been serving the crunchiest jalebis in town for over 30 years now. Find out what makes it historic.

Ever visited Naif street on a Friday morning? If you’re nodding, then chances are you know the hero of this area! Imdad’s crispy, sugar-soaked jalebis make its appearance only on Friday mornings and they’re gone even before you can realize. This is the story of a 30-year old humble eatery in Naif street, which sells the crispiest Jalebis in Dubai. The shop sells about 28-30 kgs of Jalebi every day and on Fridays it touches 70-80kgs. Back in 1987, Jalebi was sold for AED 4 per kg. Today it is AED 25 per kg.
