The soon-to-be-inaugurated Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is all the entire country is buzzing about. Ram Mandir-themed paraphernalia, in this situation, is gaining popularity. Recently, a jewellery shop in Surat, Gujarat, shared a short video of the Ram Mandir-inspired necklace they have in their possession. If reports are to go by, the necklace will be a gift to the Ram Mandir. Here are all of the important information that you will need to know about the necklace.

This ingeniously-crafted necklace weighs around two kilogrammes and is made of gold and silver. In addition to these precious metals, the necklace is also studded with a whopping five thousand diamonds!

The necklace is made by Rasesh Jewels who are based in Gujarat’s Surat, the City of Diamonds. Such a piece of jewellery clearly must have taken a long time to be made. Well, according to reports, as many as 40 artists have worked on it.

It took them more than a month, 35 days to be precise, to make this necklace from start to finish. Clearly, the craftsmen who worked on the necklace were extremely talented and the result of their hard work is truly marvellous.

Not For Commercial Purposes; A Gift To The Temple

According to an article which was published on CNBC TV, the necklace is not for commercial purposes. This means that it will not be sold. Rather, the jewellers, in the CNBC article, said that it was going to be a gift to the Ram Mandir.

The Ram Mandir is set to be inaugurated on January 22. The entire country is awaiting this event with bated breath.
