We might be the toughest, strongest, and bravest to fight major battles in life but most of us often become the weakest seeing something as small and scary as a cockroach or a lizard. A deadly combo, right? Well, recently a customer of Swiggy was disgusted seeing a small cockroach coming out of the food packaging that he ordered from a gourmet place in Bengaluru.

The customer placed an order from Paris Panini nestled in Church Street in Bengaluru. He was in utter shock after receiving the parcel as he noticed an insect creeping out of the packaging. Seeing this horrible situation, he clicked pictures and informed Swiggy about the same. Sadly, Swiggy has denied a refund. To share the entire incident, he shared some pictures of the insect near the order and a screenshot of the Swiggy Support Team’s reply.
According to the screenshot shared on this post, the Swiggy Support Team replied that they “are unable to have any monetary adjustments”. Instead, they provided two recommendations for rating the restaurant on Swiggy based on the user experience or reporting the concern to the FSSAI and ‘Proceed with Food-related Grievance’.

The official support handle of the food ordering and delivery platform has shared its response under this post on the X platform. They have asked for some time to investigate and take a look at this matter. “Hey there, that is not the experience we aim for. Please allow us some time to investigate this”, shared Swiggy Cares.
Unfortunately, this is not the first when something like this happened to any customer. In the past, we saw many such posts of people finding stomach-churning elements in food.
Have you ever come across such disgusting experiences of noticing something dirty or unhygienic in your food orders?
