Taiwan based luxury carrier, Starlux Airlines announced the launch of its flights from Taipei to Los Angeles. The debut flight will fly on April 26. This luxury full service airline is known to be based out of Taipei Taoyuan Airport, Taiwan. Starlux believes that luxury should not be exclusive. The pictures of the airbus have been released, and it looks super alluring and luxurious.

Starlux Airlines Launches Flights To Los Angeles

Non-stop flights from Taipei to Los Angeles will be launched by Taiwanese luxury carrier, Starlux Airlines. It will compete with Taiwan’s established airline Eva Air and China Airlines. The journey from Taipei to Los Angeles will take about 12 hours and cover a distance of 6,800 miles.

The service is anticipated to expand to daily operation in June after initially commencing with five flights per week. Airbus A350 planes with first-, business-, and economy-class cabins will be used by the airline. For the transpacific flight, a fleet of Airbus A350-900 planes will be used.

The business class and first class come with a private door, lie-flat beds, premium cabins, seatback screens, side tables, power ports, table trays, a mirror, a wardrobe, and more.

This startup was launched in 2020, which was an unlucky time for the airlines as the COVID-19 virus disrupted travel. The airlines had plans to launch long-haul flights way back but, due to the pandemic, could not do so. As a “luxury” airline, Starlux promotes a full-service experience.
