One of the best in the hospitality industry, Taj has been ranked as the ‘World’s Strongest Hotel Brand’ by a global brand valuation consultancy. The iconic brand has bagged the tag for the second year in a row. Although the pandemic had struck the tourism and hospitality sector, Taj with its relevant and adjusting strategies had fit itself comfortably to stay a preferred brand amongst tourists.

The brand valuation report stated that Taj was at the forefront when the pandemic struck and came up with innovative strategies to support the healthcare sector.

The Indian Hotels Company CEO, Puneet Chhatwal said, ‘We are very proud that Taj has been recognised as the world’s strongest hotel brand for the second time in a row. This reaffirms Taj as the most acclaimed benchmark of excellence in the industry globally.’

Taj Group Carry A Legacy Of 18 Years

The Taj group of hotels carry a legacy of over 118 years and stands as the most iconic brand in the hospitality sector. The patrons of the Taj Hotels were quick to react to Taj’s recognition. They said,

Apart from the strongest brand tag, the consultancy also listed some of the most valuable hotel brands – Hilton Hotels and Resorts topped the list with a brand value of USD 12 billion, Hyatt at USD 5.9 billion and Holiday Inn at USD 4.2 billion.
