There are two ways to reach the Leh town, one is the Srinagar-Leh highway and the most popular one is the Manali-Leh highway. The roads are washed in the rains so ensure all safety if you’re travelling by bike especially. The Manali-Leh highway is 464 km long where you will need proper planning and research in advance as there are no petrol pumps for a stretch of 365 km on the highway.
The best season to travel from Manali to Leh is from June to September.
