This Bombay Journey X Sunday Brunch episode was filmed with the cast of Jee Karda, starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati and Suhail Nayyar. Our anchors were Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan and Curly Tales’s Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, and had a wholesome time driving around Lower Parel and Bandra West. For the brunching section, our guests were taken to SodaBottleOpenerWala for authentic Parsi food where we talked about their diet plans.
Tamannaah Bhatia Talked About Following Any Diet Plans
While everyone was gorging on delish vada pav, berry pulao and more, Kamiya asked about the diet plans of our guests. Tamannaah Bhatia informed us that she doesn’t adhere to “crash dieting” since it isn’t healthy for her. For those who are not aware, crash dieting is the practice of drastically altering your food patterns in an attempt to drop weight quickly.
Tamannaah told us, “I have always had balanced kind of eating habits, never had extreme (diets).” She shared that even if she had changed her dieting patterns, it just affected her in the wrong manner. She went on to explain that a person’s mental and emotional health should also be taken into account in addition to what they consume. When dieting, many genuinely don’t take mental and emotional health factors into account. Is this also your outlook towards dieting?

On The Other Hand, She Is A Foodie
We love to see celebs enjoy food and indulge in food more while filming our episodes. It was no secret to us that Tamannaah Bhatia enjoys eating and is a foodie. Just as she talked about following a diet which makes you happy inside out is essential, she showcased that by eating her favourite dishes in our episode. Earlier in the episode, she raved about Sindhi food and her go-to Sindhi dishes are Aloo Tuk and Sindhi Kadhi Chawal.
Next, she also shared that she loves to indulge in the street food of Mumbai. She particularly enjoys dosa, vada pav, and sev puri. Because the rest of our guests, the boys, hail from Delhi and talked about chole bhature being the ultimate street food, Tamannaah agreed to like this food item as well.
