Tamannaah Bhatia & Her ‘Jee Karda’ Character, Lavanya Singh Love This Unique Ice Cream Flavour

Three super-entertaining and talented guests joined Curly Tales’s Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, and Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan for a fun collaboration episode of Sunday Brunch X The Bombay Journey. The guests we are talking about starred together in an OTT release, Jee Karda, and they are Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, and Suhail Nayyar. While we were driving through Lower Parel and talking about the forever traffic of Mumbai, Tamannaah told us that the character she played on Jee Karda prefers blackcurrant ice cream, just like her in real life. It looks like she was destined to play this character.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s ‘Jee Karda’ Character Also Loves This Ice Cream

We could not help but discuss Jee Karda and what the show was about. It is a show that flaunts the lifestyles of friends living in Mumbai and how events unfold in their lives. If you love Mumbai, you will get to see plenty of the city on this show. Tamannaah Bhatia started to talk about how Mumbai is an inspiration for the storyline. She even shared some tiny instants that linked to this notion.

Arunima Sharma, the director of Jee Karda, and Tamannah seem to be huge fans of The Bombay Canteen, located in Kamala Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai. When we were driving near Kamala Mills, Tamannah was quick to let us know her favourite restaurant was just around the corner. Then she told us that she and her character, Lavanya Singh, have similar interests in life. One was the blackcurrant ice cream flavour from The Bombay Canteen, which is a favourite between the character and Tamannah. It seems like Arunima made the reel and real life come together for Tamannah.

On the topic of discounts and getting free stuff from here and there, we questioned Tamannaah Bhatia about whether she ever gets free stuff. She went on to say that she believes if someone recognises you as a celebrity, then they prefer to charge you more instead of giving discounts. She clarified that the misconception that celebrities having an endless supply of money and thus charging them extra is okay for the vendors has to be broken down. It looks like celebs can’t really bargain much!
