The Niagra Falls Of Kashmir Flows In Seclusion

Aharabal is also known as ‘Niagara Falls’ of Kashmir lies in the Kulgam district’s Noorabad area of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the Vishav River, a tributary of the Jehlum River, in an alpine valley covered in pine and fir trees. Aharbal is easily accessible from Srinagar, and it takes about two hours by car or bus via Shopian to reach there. An alternate route will take you to Aharbal via Kulgam.

Here, the boisterous waters of Vishav river tumble down straight 25 metres below at Aharbal creating a waterfall.
