The Women-Only Beach Al Mamlha Makes Its Way To Al Ghariya & Here’s Everything To Know

The Al Shamal Municipality has opened Al Mamlha Beach for women in the Al Ghariya Area, according to the Ministry of Municipality. From 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., the beach is open to female guests. Al Shamal Municipality Director Hamad Juma al-Mannai and a number of top officials were present at the occasion. Al Mamlha was established in response to a directive from HE the Minister of Municipality to establish a designated beach for women.

In Its Waters, This Women-Only Beach Can Hold Up To 1,100 Women & Children

Al Mamlha Beach is a 15,000-square-meter beach with the main access gate on the northern side and is totally gated off on the western and northern sides to protect guests’ privacy. The Emirates Wildlife Authority awarded this dedicated ladies-only beach the famous Blue Flag sustainability designation, and it can accommodate up to 1,100 women and children in its waters, while the shoreline allows over 5,000 guests to tan, relax, and enjoy the beach.

Cameras, Animals, Fishing & Camping Are All Strictly Prohibited On The Property

A high premium is placed on security and privacy. Cameras, animals, fishing, and camping are strictly prohibited, however, female lifeguards are on duty to ensure safety. Privacy is ensured by fences and obstacles. Adults pay AED 25 and children from 3 to 12 pay AED 5, with boys above the age of 6 not permitted. The beach is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., however, swimming is only permitted until sunset.

All Of The Necessary Public Services Are Available At The Women’s Only Beach

Toilets, guardrooms, shaded benches, barbeque places, rubbish bins, female guards, and a rope barrier to stop the entry of water bikes are all available at the women’s only beach. Solar-powered lights illuminate the area.
