There’s Now A Special Train To Visit The Statue Of Unity

Standing at 182 meters, the largest statue in the world, the Statue of Unity in Gujarat will now have a special train for visiting tourists.

What is it?

A tribute to Shri Sardar Vallabhai Patel, a special train will run under the Bharat Darshan scheme of the Government. The tour is an eight days – seven nights package which began on the 4th of March from Chandigarh. It will halt at Vadodara station from where the tourists will be escorted to the famed statue in buses. The train is a non-AC sleeper priced at Rs 7560 per head, inclusive of your day-&-night stay accommodation and sightseeing in non-AC vehicles.

What’s In It?

What’s more exciting is that the Statue of Unity is not the only stop for the special train! It will also cover several pilgrimage sites such as Shirdi Sai Baba Darshan, Trimbakeshwar in Nashik etc. wherein boarding and deboarding from Chandigarh, Delhi and Jaipur is arranged for.
