Parks, waterfalls, skywalks, Kharghar in Navi Mumbai has got it all. Here’s a list what you should do when in Kharghar. And keep in mind, Kharghar is an alcohol-free zone! You will find no shops selling any alcohol, it will only be available in Five Star Hotels at the least.

1. Take A Dip At Pandav Kada Waterfalls
Kharghar is a beautiful locale in Mumbai, green and serving as a great getaway close by! Pandav Kada is one of the major reasons why everyone needs to go to Kharghar now.

This scenic ‘plunge’ waterfall is about 107 meters high and entices many to come to spend time away from the city noise. You can also take a dip in its cool waters! However, this place is prettiest during the rains. It could be quite risky to trek though so make sure you follow directions.

2. Indulge In A Seafood Thali Under ₹300 At Maharashtra Lunch Home
They are known for their filling quantities and finger licking good food. Make the most of the Bangda, Pomfret, Bomil and Clams thali for under Rs 310. They also have an outlet in Nerul!

3. Go For A Stroll At Central Park
The largest in Asia and the 3rd largest park in the world, Central Park in Kharghar is another calm retreat from the city. It is clean, green and huge! The park has a children’s play zone, an amphitheater, a walk zone and lots more. The entire park hasn’t been constructed yet but the portion that’s complete is gorgeous!

Open from 6 am to 9 am in the morning and then again from 5 pm to 9 pm. It’s a must visit people.

4. Iskcon Temple
Surrounded by the Sahyadri Hills, Kharghar’s Iskcon is an important stop for all you religious folks. The Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohanji Temple also doubles as an educational centre. Pay your respects!

The temple is still under construction but parts of it are open to the public.

5. Try Golfing At Kharghar Valley Golf Course
At the foothills of Pandav Kada, this is the only public Golf Course in Mumbai! So try your hand at golf by paying INR 600 on weekdays and INR 1200 on weekends. You can rent whatever equipment you need there itself. Cool right?

6. Visit The Royal Tulip Hotel For Its Specialty Restaurants
Get pampered with the best of culinary delights here. Each restaurant has its own specialty! For instance, Chi Na Chi Na serves authentic Asian food while Kahwa lets you watch the expert chefs prepare dishes right in front of you!
