A major-league World Carnival! Covering an area of 438 hectares (1,080 acres)! With a huge duration of five long months! Would you challenge to cover the plethora of eye-openers of this huge exposition in barely a few days? Well, honestly, we can’t. But it took 16-year-old Fazil Ummer just three days to visit all 200+ pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai. You read that right!
The Saudi Arabian-born teenager has visited Dubai with his family but came to Expo on his own. Carrying Indian heredity, it is believed he is the first Indian person to have collected stamps on his special Expo passport from all of the nations on site. Since the time he figured out the zing of travelling, he marked this one determination. To see as much as possible. To perceive as much as possible.

It Was A Big Time Dream For Fazil
“When I was a kid, I had a dream to go to every country in the world but when I matured, I realised that it was too costly… I can’t do it. I came to Expo, and when I finished all the pavilions I felt like I went to all the countries. It was awesome. I met many people from different countries. It was like dream for me,” Fazil said, as published by the Gulf News. Although there were exceptions for him, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Germany were there of his favourites.
“I marked the visited pavilions on the map and the visitor centre helped me a lot. The expo volunteers are there to help all the time.” he shared with Curly Tales Dubai. The bulkiest at Expo 2020- the bona fide desert sand in the UAE completely fascinated Fazil. He further added that the shows inside were simply moving!

Fazil Yearned To Meet The Crown Prince Of Dubai
Fazil’s plans included capturing a lot of pictures but not solely for social media fame. On day one, he visited 80 pavilions. They all were located in different areas at Expo and he actually managed to cover it all without a map. The Visitor Centre helped him strategise the rest. On the second day, he managed 50 of the busiest pavilions. It was smart of him to save the third day to make his way around some of the smaller ones. He further shared with a laugh that it was quite tiring at the end of such a wholesome completion. He did have a wish to meet His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince Of Dubai. “I wanted to meet Sheikh Hamdan, especially because he’s a sport’s person… and he inspires a lot of people,” he added. His words beautifully scripted how thoughtful he is about Dubai being lucky to have a Crown Prince that influences its people for the betterment of the Emirates. Fazil stated that he shall be forever grateful to Expo 2020 for such a bewildering experience to remember.
