And a doctor couple from the UK is taking on the trend in the most out-of-the-box way. They bought an ambulance and converted it into a campervan to travel the world in style.
Veterinarians Lawrence Dodi and Rachel Nixon officially aim to enter the Guinness World Record for the longest journey in an ambulance.

World Travel In An Ambulance: Lawrence Dodi & Rachel Nixon Are Living Their Van Life In The Most Unique Way
The duo started their journey from the UK in October 2021. Their pet, Peggy Sue, a springer spaniel, is also accompanying them on the prolonged journey. They have named their quirky ambulance campervan The Overlanding Ambulance. The ambulance contains the logo and other decals related to the trip. They have already travelled to destinations like Cornwall, Jersey, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Montgomery, Turkey, Georgia and other locations.

They’re Trying To Enter The Guinness World Record
The couple is trying to enter the Guinness World Record with this unique feat on the ambulance. According to a report by CNN Travel, they are planning to be back in the UK in the first half of 2023. They might leave Peggy with their family and continue their journey on the world’s longest motorable highway, Pan American Highway, that links North America and South America.
