Ladakh is known for its natural and scenic beauty all over the world. Recently, Ladakh’s Nubra Valley got blessed with this new boutique hotel named ‘Kyagar’ which is for sure the most dreamy Himalayan property. Rinchen Kalon, who is the owner of this beautiful property shares how this place was where his ancestors welcomed traders as the property is on the place which was once referred to as the Silk route once.

An Effort To Help Travellers Explore More Of Ladakh

Richen for sure has hospitality in her blood as her father was the one to set up the region’s first hotel in the 70s when Ladakh was announced open for tourists. The gorgeous property has eight cottages, each with two rooms with a seating area, a large washroom and private outdoor seating. Instead of using paint, the rooms are finished using Multani mitti and red clay showcasing their local tradition and art. The property is solar powered and each room has reusable thermos instead of a kettle.
