For this week’s Sunday Brunch, we were invited to Govinda’s spacious Juhu home. We were warmly received by the mother-daughter team of Sunita and Tina Ahuja. Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, was affable and led an interesting and entertaining discourse. A hearty dinner of Sarso da Saag and Makke ki Roti was served, and it looked incredibly appetising. Talking about appetising dishes, let’s find out what Sunita Ahuja loves to eat!
This Is Sunita Ahuja’s Favourite Dish
As Tina and Sunita Ahuja are playing a game orchestrated by Kamiya, she asks the two to write down what Sunita’s favourite dish is. Sunita bursts into laughter as Tina exclaims because she doesn’t seem to think she will win in this particular round of the game. Tina has her thinking face on and Sunita starts writing vigorously. She cackles with mirth as Tina finally starts attempting what her mother’s favourite dish might be.
“Ready?” asks Kamiya and they both flip their answer sheets, Sunita still laughing wholeheartedly. Sunita’s paper says ‘daru with chakna’ and she has also drawn a heart with an arrow going through it showing how much she loves her answer! Tina’s answer is rajma chawal. Looking at Sunita Ahuja’s answer, she exclaims that this isn’t food!

Sunday Is Drinking Day!
As Tina is arguing that her mother’s answer doesn’t constitute food, Sunita Ahuja claps back saying that chakna is food! She laughs telling us how much fun bar snacks are. “Kitna mazza aata hai!”, she says excitedly. This is a Sunday Brunch episode, Sunita says, and Tina supplements saying that Sunday is the day Sunita likes to drink.

Sunita tells us that she counts down days of the week until Sunday because that means that’s her day of drinking is finally here!
