Most recently, someone shared a video of a tourist bus driving in the opposite direction on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway. This sparked outrage online and calls for arresting the driver were made. A video currently making rounds on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows a tourist bus by a private operator plying on the wrong side of the road. The situation is worsened by the fact that it is not a small lane but a major roadway — the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway.

In the video, the bus seems to be driving in the wrong lane as a number of vehicles zip past it in the opposite direction. What is more, it seems to be plying at a high speed which heightens the danger of accidents. The bus in the video has been identified as the property of CRS Travels.

The driver of the bus is endangering not just their own life but also the lives of other motorists on the road. This incident is a stark reminder of the need for increased security and monitoring on roads. Many outraged viewers also asked for the cancellation of the driver’s license.

Many Netizens took to the comments section and criticised the driver for endangering the lives of other people. Some demanded that the driver should be arrested while others said that their license should be cancelled.

Alok Kumar, the additional director general of Karnataka police condemned the driver. He said that the Karnataka Police were trying their level best to look for the bus. However, the number plate in the video was not clear.
