A video currently making rounds on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows a tourist bus by a private operator plying on the wrong side of the road. The situation is worsened by the fact that it is not a small lane but a major roadway — the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway.

In the video, the bus seems to be driving in the wrong lane as a number of vehicles zip past it in the opposite direction. What is more, it seems to be plying at a high speed which heightens the danger of accidents. The bus in the video has been identified as the property of CRS Travels.

Police have installed AI speed checking instruments to collect fines from over-speeding. But they aren’t bothered about dangerous driving like this. People with such mindset must be punished severely.

Alok Kumar, the additional director general of Karnataka police condemned the driver. He said that the Karnataka Police were trying their level best to look for the bus. However, the number plate in the video was not clear.
