Winnie The Pooh Celebrates 100 Years With Beehive

At railway stations around the world, travellers often come across unique art displays and installations. This summer, if you’re passing through London’s St Pancras International, you can spot a special attraction created to mark the 100th anniversary of the beloved Winnie the Pooh.

To celebrate 100 years of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, St Pancras International in London has installed an 8.4-metre giant beehive inspired by the honey-loving bear. As per The Times of India, giant beehive is created by artist Paul Badham. It is made using recycled metal and features 56 handcrafted bees. This attraction in collaboration with Fortnum & Mason not only brings Pooh’s world to life but also highlights the importance of bees and sustainability.

What Can You Expect?

With this installation, you can expect golden honeycomb-shaped windows, glowing Winnie the Pooh pictures, and the soft sound of buzzing bees. If you’re travelling through the station, you can do more than just see it from the outside. The giant beehive allows visitors to step inside and explore it up close.

Along with this, visitors can also learn interesting facts about bees and discover more about their role in the environment. This beehive is connected to Winnie the Pooh because the lovable bear is famous for his love of honey. Fortnum & Mason is also launching something special, which you can check out online or in-store on Thursday, July 16.
