The meeting for this subway project took place on July 28, 2025. As per Mid Day, senior officials from the Urban Development Department, Mumbai Rail Vikas Corporation and MMRCL attended the meeting.
Apart from this, other underground pedestrian subways are also planned. In July 2025, the BMC met with MMRCL to discuss better pedestrian connectivity around Metro stations.
