Paraglider In China Left Hanging From Crane Mid-Air

X user Arabian (@Arabian__KGB) took to his social media handle to share a horrifying paragliding video from China. In the video, a paraglider can be seen stranded and hanging in the air. He was stuck nearly 60 metres above the ground after his glider got caught on a tower crane. Xinhua reported that the paraglider was heading toward Nanchong when strong winds caused him to lose control, and his glider got caught on a construction crane.
Soon after, firefighters stepped in and started a rescue operation to bring the paraglider down safely. Thankfully, the rescue was successful. However, there are different reports about how long he remained stuck on the crane. While talking to Beijing News, one witness said that the paraglider was stranded for about an hour, while other local reports claimed the rescue took several hours.

What Happened In Northern Austria?
This is not the first time that such a terrifying incident has happened to a paraglider. In May, another dramatic incident took place near Schmittenhöhe mountain in northern Austria. It is a well-known paragliding destination.
Sabrina, a 44-year-old experienced paraglider, was flying over the Austrian Alps with a camera mounted on her equipment when a sightseeing plane suddenly crossed her path. According to the Salzburg State Police, the aircraft passed directly through her canopy, coming just feet above her head.
The collision damaged her paraglider and sent her spinning toward the ground. Despite the terrifying situation, Sabrina managed to stay calm. She deployed her emergency parachute in time and landed safely without suffering serious injuries.
