Well, this is probably something even ZNMD director Zoya Akhtar recently discovered! She received a collectible box of ‘Diamond Biscuits’ and took to Instagram to share a picture of the tin, which read, “Ode to the Copywriter – Diamond Biscuit.” For those who don’t remember, Farhan Akhtar’s character, Imran, worked as a copywriter in the film.

Thanking the brains behind the brand, Zoya wrote, “I just received this collectible and it’s a good day. It’s simply the best.”

Inside the box, the makers have recreated the film’s iconic jingle in a fun comic-strip format. And, of course, there are actual biscuits too! While the exact flavour isn’t clear, the tin does reveal one thing: “Ab naye Coconut Flavour mein bhi!” – of course it again was part of the jingle too!

Here’s How You Can Get Your Own Box!

The brainchild of Malvika Thirani, a copywriter herself, Diamond Biscuit is a ZNMD fan project created with a team that includes a baker, project managers and a designer. The project was launched to mark Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’s 15th anniversary this year, bringing a fictional product from the film into the real world.

As the brand’s website puts it, “In advertising, it’s not every day that you come across a jingle that has been remembered for 15 years.” And that’s exactly what inspired the project. 15 years after the film introduced us to Imran’s iconic biscuit jingle, Malvika decided to celebrate the fictional copywriter by giving his fictional creation a real-life twist.

What started as a fan’s tribute has now become a little piece of ZNMD that you can actually eat. The project is truly a “from one fan to another” celebration of the film, and yes, Malvika is definitely a Diamond Biscuit Paglu!

Want to get your hands on a box? You can place an order through the brand’s website and taste the ZNMD nostalgia for yourself.
