As mentioned above, Turkish Airlines, which has a base at the Istanbul Airport, will begin its flight to Detroit from November 15 onwards. In a report by Simple Flying, it was mentioned that the airline will operate three weekly flights. This is a long-anticipated route, as it was also mentioned that it will target a broader Middle East group, which includes Iraq, as it is also the second-largest immigrant group in Detroit. While from South Asia, Bangladesh is also one of the key targets as the city has a large Bangladeshi US population, even one of the highest in the country. Moreover, it should be mentioned that once this flight begins, it will be the 13th destination in the USA for the airline.
