Al Hosn App Green Pass Validity has been enhanced by Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee. A negative PCR test on the app will receive green status starting on Wednesday, September 28. It will have a validity of 30 days. The prior updates included a status change from red to green and a 30-day validity extension from a 14-day span.

PCR-Test Routine To Keep Active Green Status On App

Users’ green status on the Al Hosn app will change to grey after 30 days. This is in accordance with the new COVID-19 standards. Users will still require a negative PCR test result obtained at least once every 30 days in order to keep their status green.

Unvaccinated individuals must get a negative PCR test in 7 days to maintain a green status on the Al Hosn app. Previous to a negative PCR test result, green passes were valid for 14 days

Face Mask Mandates In UAE

Previous to a negative PCR test result, green passes were valid for 14 days. In all other open and closed facilities and sites, mask-wearing is permissible, based on the most recent Abu Dhabi COVID report. Masks are still necessary for mosques, hospitals, medical institutions, and public transit. The system enforces strong recommendations on the use of face mask levies on the elderly, the weak, and the resolute.
