1. Etihad Airways Celebrates 20th Anniversary With A Fly-Past At Yas Marina Circuit

Fans of racing were in for a treat, as they saw a spectacular low-level fly-past by Etihad Airways, which is also a title sponsor of the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This also coincided with the airline’s 20th anniversary year and for the fly-past, the Etihad Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner flew over the iconic start to finish line of Yas Marina Circuit. This happened at an altitude of 600 feet, at 16:44 and 55 seconds. As it happens, it was being followed by a V-formation wherein Al Fursan Al Emarat’s seven Aermacchi MB-339NAT jet aircraft, which represented the seven emirates of the UAE, displayed a vapour trail in red, green, and black colours of the UAE flag.

2. Ajman Police Warns Of AED500 Fine For Motorists

According to a recent post by Ajman Police, it was seen urging the motorists to take care of pedestrian safety. Yes, this means that stopping cars on the pedestrian crossings could set them back by a fine of AED500. This development comes after the post also called for them to keep the safety of the pedestrians at the top. It’s worth mentioning that this announcement was made on the official Instagram handle of the Ajman Police.

3. Abu Dhabi Was Crowned the World’s Best Cruise Destination

At the 2023 World Cruise Awards, Abu Dhabi was crowned as the Middle East’s Best Cruise Destination. Yes, this hardly comes as a surprise as there are several cruises that are passing through its port. Moreover, the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, which is at the Zayed Port also won two awards and it has been named as the World’s Best Cruise Terminal and the Middle East Cruise Terminal, as well.

Finally, Abu Dhabi was also crowned as the World’s Best Cruise destination, thereby taking the total tally of awards to four, for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. It’s worth mentioning that it has left behind other facilities which were located in Canada, Croatia, Fiji, Maldives, and South Africa, to name a select few.

4. Dubai RTA Offers nol Cards For UN Climate Change Conference Of Youth Participants

According to a recent post by the Dubai RTA on X (formerly Twitter), it was announced that they are offering nol cards for the UN Climate Change Conference of Youth participants of the event. This is being offered to them for the event that’s being held at the Expo City. The ongoing event, which ends today began on November 26! As such, the motive of Dubai RTA is to offer optimal comfort and sustainable transportation. And this can be possible using public transport.

5. Khaled Bin Mohamed bin Zayed Inaugurated 2nd Abu Dhabi Finance Week

Recently, Khaled bin Mohamed Bin Zayed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, inaugurated the 2nd Abu Dhabi Finance Week. So, during this, he also met with senior financial executives, policymakers, and innovators. And, the event brought together over 3,500 financial companies and is expected to attract 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries.
