Recently, the Dubai Sports Council took to its official account on X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the first-ever Dubai Electric Scooter Cup will be taking place in the Emirate this year. Yes, announced together with the Federation For Micromobility and Sport, this is going to be a racing and micromobility event for e-scooters, which is in line with the Year of Sustainability in the UAE. As it happens, the world’s best riders are going to come together to compete against each other on the fastest electric scooters, around the streets of Dubai in the racing event that will happen on December 16, 2023.

As this racing event celebrates not just a new type of mobility but also inclusivity,16 of the best female and male riders will compete together in this race. Additionally, Khaleej Times also mentioned that it is going to be a knockout-style racing competition and the speed is going to be easily over a hundred kilometres per hour. Not to mention, RS-Zero DXB is the fastest electric race scooter in the world that has been specifically designed for this race. So, competitors will be racing on this electric scooter to win the title of the Dubai Electric Scooter Cup Champion. Moreover, the top speed of this vehicle is over 140 km/h, and it has a lean angle of over 58°, which helps in adding to the ultimate performance.
