Rishi Sunak, UK’s first Indian-origin British Prime Minister is undoubtedly the man of the hour. The 42-year-old British lawmaker is currently flooded with congratulatory messages from global leaders. But did you know Rishi Sunak is also a massive foodie? Rishi Sunak Has A Special Connection With Vidyarthi Bhavan

Bengaluru’s iconic restaurant Vidyarthi Bhavan shared a special tweet to congratulate Rishi Sunak on becoming the new Prime Minister of the UK. They shared a picture of the British PM dressed in a casual light blue t-shirt and shorts. Rishi Sunak smiles as he sits comfortably for his meal. Vidyarthi Bhavan’s Twitter handle expressed their joy to welcome the youngest British Prime Minister.

They wished him good luck and hoped he would help navigate the UK in these turbulent times. Arun Adiga, the managing partner at Vidyarthi Bhavan recalled the incident when Rishi Sunak visited their restaurant. He revealed to News18 that Sunak, his wife Akshata Murthy, his two children, Infosys head honcho Narayana Murthy and author-philanthropist Sudha Murthy dined at Vidyarthi Bhavan in 2019.

They gorged on piping hot Masala Dosa, crispy Rave Vade, strong filter coffee and the sweet dish Kesari Bhaat. Narayan Murthy introduced Rishi Sunak to Arun Adiga. Interestingly, Sunak loved his meal so much that he recommended his parents visit this dosa paradise. The British PM polished his dosas.
