These faster trains are expected to reduce the travel time between these popular destinations by 45 minutes!

During these trial runs, the Commissioner of Railway Safety (Western Circle) has emphasised prioritising safety. They have asked to ensure that the Vande Bharat trials at 160 kmph occur during daylight and fair weather conditions. They have also mandated positioning Railway Protection Force personnel and railway officials at level crossing gates during trial runs to prevent pedestrian access and ensure proper barricading. Furthermore, the locomotive pilots are required to undergo training and medical checks before the trial run begins. Also, no other trains will be allowed to cross paths at en-route stations during these trial runs.

If these trial runs turn out to be successful, then it will help improve the travel experience of the passengers and reduce travel time on many more routes in the future. Let us know what you think about this in the comments!
