Unfortunately, we all have been fooled by brands to purchase all kinds of items without knowing their authenticity or the reality of manufacturing them. Recently, we came across an Instagram reel showing the behind-the-scenes of making litchi drinks. Spoiler alert: we did not find anyone adding even one litchi to the drinks mixture.

Imagine walking outside on a scorching summer day and you start craving juices and refreshing drinks. Be it going to offices or colleges or somewhere else, our hearts and throats desire some fresh drinks to beat the heat. At such intolerable temperatures, we end up purchasing packaged juices and drinks. Many consumers believe these to be a healthy alternative too. Sadly, the truth is strikingly the opposite. Also, many companies use unhealthy amounts of sugar for these mixtures.
This Instagram reel shared by Amar Sirohi reflects a dark reality of making packaged juices such as litchi drinks using automated machines. In this video, we can see staff mixing different powder-like ingredients and water to make the liquid and then sieving it using a huge piece of cloth. Once everything is mixed, the drink is poured into bottles.
Next, brand name labels are attached to these bottles and they are ready to be dispatched with the finishing touches. As shared in the reel, these drinks require a list of multiple ingredients. Sadly, we did not find a single litchi mixed to make litchi drinks in this video.
People Are Surprised & Scared Quite Understandably
The actual truth behind the giant industries making litchi drinks and selling them in perfectly packaged bottles has blown our minds. Many of us are aware of the amounts of chemicals present in manufacturing these bottles of juices and supposedly fruit drinks but seeing the reality of not using even a single piece of fruit came as a huge shock.
Taking to the comment section of this reel, Instagrammers are sharing their concerns and questioning why no one bans these unhealthy things.
