Turns out the main focus was on food as both of our guests are massive foodies but for us, they are shining brighter than the delish food! Vijay Varma Trained For Working At A Call Centre
Vijay Varma told us that he was working at a call centre and he practised everything diligently for around three months. He even enjoyed working there because he got to learn a lot of things. He listed down some of them for us – their culture, city names, festivals, accents and more.
This prompted Kamiya to confirm with him if he picked up the American accent from there. To this, Vijay Varma said yes and told us that he learnt English there as well. He elaborated that he was in a Hindi medium school till 5th standard. Hence, the call centre made him polish up his English skills.

How Long Did He Work There For?
Vijay Varma mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed his training period but what about his working days? He said, “Worked one night at a call centre. Made 250 outbound calls, uss mein se 70% ne answer nahi kiya, 30% answering machine mein gaye honge. Do ya teen logo ne phone uthaya hoga.” This made him realise that he was “not cut out for that.” So, he quit.
Well, this took an unexpected turn because he barely worked at his call centre and ended up quitting the job after one day of working there. On the other hand, he learned the English language from there. You win some, you lose some and Vijay clearly won here!
