As the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Citrus is known for its expansive culinary offerings. For Vishu, the menu features a traditional drumstick rassam and a chicken corn coriander chowder. This is followed by a curated selection of appetisers such as prawn varual and Ghee roast chicken. A range of vegetarian preparations, including avial, kalan, and erissery, complements dishes such as chicken adipoli, Malabar mutton curry, and Kottayam-style fish curry. The meal concludes with a selection of Vishu-special desserts, including parippu pradhaman and pal payasam, offering a traditional finale to the experience.

2. Banana Leaf 

As the auspicious Vishu festival is celebrated on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of April, Banana Leaf marks the occasion with a specially curated Vishu Thali. The thali includes Manga Urukai, More Melaga, Papadam, Milaga Bajji, Pepper Rasam, and Neer Sambadan, as well as comforting preparations like Payar Mezhukkvaratti, Sambar, Avial, Pavakka Theyal, and Veg Kuruma. Served with steamed rice, lemon rice with ghee and podi, along with parathas and kallappam, the meal is rounded off with a traditional Pal Payasam.

The Sadhya unfolds with a delightful assortment of crisps and festive snacks, such as banana chips, chakka upperi, achappam, and unni appam, followed by vibrant accompaniments, including bhindi pachadi, carrot pachadi, and the tangy-sweet pulinji.
