Madhya Pradesh is home to breathtaking beauty and splendid travel experiences. From bustling cities to rural villages, the central state of India is known for so many fascinating reasons. It has been a few years since the famous Hindi series Panchayat was filmed in a village in Madhya Pradesh. Not 1 or 2 but a total of 3 seasons have been shot in this village. But what is the name of this village? Is it Phulera as shown in the comedy-drama series?

Madhya Pradesh Tourism shared a picture of the famous ‘Gram Panchayat Phulera’ from the series Panchayat and asked Instagrammers to guess the name of the village in Madhya Pradesh. It took no time for fans to guess the name of the popular village where Panchayat was shot. Fans can instantly understand and guess the name of the much-loved series.

Starting from season 1 to the soon-to-be-released season 3, most scenes have been filmed in different locations in the Mahodiya Village. Fans have flooded the comment section of this Instagram post by sharing the name of the place shown here. Mahodiya Village is located in the Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh. Though the fictional story revolves around the Phulera village in the Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh, the actual shooting location was Mahodiya Village.

After impressing fans with fantastic 2 seasons in the last few years, the Panchayat team is back again to surprise us. The next season is all set to be released on May 28. As usual, it is going to premiere exclusively on Prime Video. The trailer is indeed exciting and looks like the story will be more interesting and will take new turns in the characters’ lives.

How Far Is Mahodiya Village?

Taking to X, Kiriti (@in20im) shared information about the exact location of the village.

The rural Mahodiya village is now popular in many parts of India after the release of Panchayat. It is about 9 km away from the famous city of Sehore in Madhya Pradesh.
