Despite being a household name, he stays connected to his roots and remains down to earth. That is what people seem to admire the most about him, besides his cricketing skills. Recently, another evidence of his humility was captured on camera when he was seen boarding an economy flight.

Recently, someone took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a short video of the beloved cricket player on an economy flight. If reports are to go by, the flight was heading from the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru to Ranchi in Jharkhand.

The short video shows Mahi putting his luggage in the overhead compartment of the plane and then going back to his seat. The flight seems to be filled with his admirers because passengers are curiously peeking over their seats to get a glimpse of the cricket legend.

They even applaud when he successfully loads the luggage in the overhead compartment. Clearly, the cricket player is very loved even for the simplest of actions.

Many of his admirers took to the comment section to applaud his humility. Usually, people of his stature and renown prefer to fly in business class or first class. Many even use their very own private jets with no regard for the harm it does to the environment.

However, MS Dhoni’s simple act of travelling with the commoners seems to strike a chord with his admirers. It shows them that their idol and hero is not afraid of travelling with the masses who love him so much. They see it as a sign of humility that remains untouched by the innumerous successes of his cricket career.
