Virat Kohli is RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) and RCB is Virat Kohli. Ask any RCB fan about the special place they have in their hearts for the cricketer and former RCB skipper, and their hearts would skip a beat. Perhaps, as a gift to Bangalore and to every fan out there, Virat Kohli will finally launch his restaurant One8 Commune in the Garden City. The best part? It’s near Chinnaswamy Stadium! We have proof. So, RCB fans, are you ready?
One8 Commune To Come Up In Bangalore Near Chinnaswamy Stadium
While Virat Kohli’s renowned One8 Commune has outposts in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune, Bangaloreans have eagerly been waiting for his fine-dining restaurant’s Bangalore debut. Looks like, the wait is way shorter than you think! And at the cost of sounding cheesy, the best experiences come to those who wait.
When it comes to One8 Commune, we spotted a signboard of the restaurant under construction right above Tonique, Asia’s largest liquor boutique nestled in Ashok Nagar. From the looks of it, One8 Commune will be a rooftop escapade, perfect for enjoying the city’s cool breeze, while you tuck into their signature cheese wheel pasta and soak in the panoramic views of Cubbon Park and Chinnaswamy Stadium.
RCB fans, we know you’re super excited for One8 Commune to make its way to Namma Bangalore. But while we’ve just spotted the signboard, there isn’t any official announcement yet about its launch date. Take this as a sign from the Gods, that it gives you ample time to plan your order already. Let’s fill in on Virat Kohli’s personal recommendation at One8 Commune.

What Is Virat Kohli’s Favourite Dish On The Menu?
On a Sunday Brunch episode with Curly Tales’s Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, the Indian cricketer treated her to his favourite Mushroom Googly Dim Sums at One8 Commune. The purple-hued dumplings made with truffle oil and wild mushrooms are Virat Kohli’s favourite. The vegetarian revealed to Curly Tales that he recommended the chefs curate a menu that features salads, and dim sums that celebrate his favourite ingredients — mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Well, One8 Commune is making its way to not just Bangalore but the hearts of every cricket lover with its proximity to Chinnaswamy Stadium. So, RCB fans, how excited are you on a count of 1 to 10? We are 18!
