The Haunted History Of This 16th-Century Jamali Kamali
Also known as Jamali Kamali Mosque, or Jamali Kamali Tomb and Mosque, it might be one of the lesser-known historical treasures that is associated with paranormal activity in Delhi. The appealing factor for this treasure is its remarkable Mughal architecture built during the reign of Sikander Lodi.
Over the years, many people have encountered footsteps, echoes, and whispers. Others have reported to have witnessed shadowy figures, that too inside the tomb. There is another rumour that it is haunted by two djinns. If dare, go visit the tomb after it’s dark.

However, you can visit the tomb during the day and enjoy its historical aspect. The red sandstone and marble designs are typical of Mughal-era architecture. It is believed that Shaikh Jamali Kamboh, a Sufi saint and poet, was nicknamed ‘Jamali’ and ‘Kamali’ was his disciple and lover. According to traditional stories, they were madly in love with each other. Their graves each have a symbolic pen box, which is kept in a manner that indicates that they were certainly lovers.
